Yes, scheduling an appointment ensures availability. Many mobile notaries offer same-day or next-day service, especially for urgent needs like real estate closings or last-minute legal documents.
3. What do I need to bring for notarization?
You must provide: A valid government-issued ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.) At Notaries desrecsion Birth Certificate and SS# may be used in conjuction withcertain situations The unsigned document (do not sign before the notary is present) Any required witnesses (if applicable)
4. How long does a mobile notary appointment take?
Most notarizations take 10–30 minutes, depending on the number of documents and whether witnesses are required.

5. Can a mobile notary refuse to notarize a document?
Yes, a notary must follow state laws and can refuse if: The signer lacks proper ID The document is incomplete The signer appears coerced or unaware The notary suspects fraud
